The order API for Magento allows AdCurve to inject orders from marketplaces directly into your Magento admin panel.
Below are instructions on how create the necessary roles and configurations in your Magento admin panel so that the API key can be used in AdCurve.
1. Create a Role for AdCurve
Navigate from you Admin Panel to System > Web Services > SOAP/XML-RPC - Roles
Once on this page, use the Add New Role button in the top right to start setting up a new role.
Give the new role a name, we recommend just using "AdCurve" or "AdCurve API" or similar so that it's easily recognizable, and you'll need to enter your admin password to create the user.
2. Change Role permissions
Once the new role is set up, select the new role and navigate to Resource Access to modify the permissions to match the screenshot below:
Once the permissions are configured correctly, you'll need to save your changes.
3. Create a User
Navigate from you Admin Panel to System > Web Services > SOAP/XML-RPC - Users
Now that role is set up, we need to add a user to assign the role.
Click the Add new user button in the top right, and fill in the form to create a new user. Give the role a name that you'll recognize, "AdCurve API User" for example, a first and last name, and an email address.
For the API Key you should ideally use a strong and unique password.
After completing these details, you'll need to use the menu on the left to navigate to User Role to select the role we just created and assign it to the new user and save.
4. Enter the details in AdCurve
Navigate to your Shop Settings and select Magento Connection from the options on the left.
Here you'll need to enter the user-name and API Key that you just created in your Mangento Admin Panel.
Once saved a new field will be added to the page where you can select the Magento Store View that you use with this AdCurve shop. You will need to save again after selecting the store.
Once fully connected and configured the Connection status will display a green light.
